Custom cars, classic vehicles, and automotive racing have been our passion for as long as we can remember. Schaefer Rod & Custom was founded in 2011 with a focus on custom builds and classic car restoration.
In 2022, we opened a second location dedicated to modern automotive repair, allowing our original shop to focus 100% on classic cars, hot rods, and off-road vehicles. Our fully equipped facility features state-of-the-art equipment and the capabilities to build everything from high-horsepower race cars to street machines, lowriders, and trail-ready off-road rigs.

Meet Ben Schaefer - Owner & Master ASE Tech
Ben Schaefer is the owner of Schaefer Rod & Custom and a Master ASE Certified Automotive Technician with over 20 years of hands-on experience. After attending Universal Technical Institute (UTI) for automotive mechanics, Ben earned the certifications required to achieve Master ASE status. A lifelong hot rod enthusiast, he brings real-world knowledge from cruising and drag racing to every build. Whether restoring a classic, building a street cruiser, or creating a track-ready machine, Ben applies unmatched attention to detail, craftsmanship, and reliability to every project that leaves the shop.
